The Hong Kong office was established 2 ½ years ago and has steadily grown in size and client base to become our gateway to other Asian cities.

Applications are now invited for experienced Change Management (CM) Practitioners who are seeking secure permanent employment in Hong Kong.

CM is now a recognised discipline in its own right and the demand for business professionals with specific experience in corporate restructuring is in demand from a number of SMS Asian clients. Accordingly SMS is keen to recruit genuine CM Practitioners who have been engaged with large corporations on major enterprise restructuring programs.

People and IT systems together form the central focus of any successful change management program and accordingly we need people-oriented consultants with a sympathetic and sensitive approach coupled with a strong technology background to manage what are often adversarial change management engagements.

To be considered you would require experience covering:

  • Preparation of initial business impact assessment statements
  • Senior management roles in corporate restructuring programs
  • Implementation of complex legislation, processes and compliance
  • Overseeing the outsourcing of IT and other non core services
  • Engagement with a wide range of personnel from ‘C’ level executives to shop floor personnel
  • Facilitation of workshops for management, stakeholders and staff
  • A track record of effectively delivering a successful CM program either individually or as part of a team
  • A thorough knowledge of company structures and the role and importance of each department …HR, Finance, IT, Marketing etc
  • Exposure to various methodologies and systems commonly commonly adopted by big business…Prince 2, Six Sigma, Agile etc
  • Definition of business requirements for new systems modules

 

A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred and all SMS consultants have a high degree of Information Technology know-how.
